Doodle Rugs
We needed a new area rug for our living room. We looked around and found some rugs that we liked, but they were all too expensive. I had been seeing videos of people using tufting guns to make rugs online and it looked pretty fun so I decided that I would try and make an area rug. The design is one of my grandma’s doodles- My grandma produced over 5000 black and white doodles in her 90’s. This is an 8’X10’ wool rug. I spent about $1000 on tools and materials and spent about 25 hours making the rug.
